I had a dream of creating a new beautiful place, where friends and guests could stay and we all enjoy the Greek lifestyle together. Now this dream has become a reality: we opened the Odyssey Farm Eco-Glamping! On our family land you can sleep in between our olive and lemon trees in our stylishly decorated tents, stone houses and the cottage by the sea. You can join me in an outdoor cooking classes, lounge on our private beach with a view of Poros town or sunbath next to our swimming pool. We are looking forward to welcoming you there!

Transformational style of holiday

With the Odyssey Farm Eco-Glamping I like to offer an authentic experience, off the beaten track for those fellow humans that are looking for something different. For the people that love connecting with nature and experimental holidays. For those guests that dare to leave their comfort zones and experience a shift in perspective that improves the way we connect with the world. I would love to be able to offer this transformational style of holiday that will enrich a person’s life and, ultimately, leave an impression that lasts much longer than the journey itself.

Organic growth

In my dream it was very important that my orchard would remain organic. So, when it would be time for the olive picking, I could have friends join me and share this natural harvesting experience. Actually, I wish this to be the case for all the agricultural experiences I’d love to share, like making preserves from all the oranges and lemons, not bought but straight from the tree, and this also applies to the picking of pomegranates and grapes. Love for nature, respect for tradition and organic farming being the essence of what I want to share with my friends and guests.

Eco-glamping

Next to olive, lemon and orange trees, there are pomegranates, walnut and almond trees and a lot of others that grow locally. We have a few chickens and a vegetable garden that is big enough to give us fresh vegetables throughout the year. Me being me, we of course built an outdoor kitchen, which has become the perfect place for cooking with our friends, and to host cooking classes with the freshly picked veggies from our garden. The outdoor kitchen also comes with a traditional oven and a nice BBQ, both of which we regularly use. For the past 2 years it has been my home.

Green traveller

Our goal is to minimize the environmental impact as much as is possible. We are close to managing this at the Odyssey Farm Eco-Glamping. Here are my thoughts and principles that form the foundation for this place:

– We offer an eco-friendly way of holiday-making, where the full experience of lodging, cooking, eating and outdoor activities are all part of the stay-over. You may call it glamorous camping, or you may call it luxurious camping, we prefer to call it nature friendly holiday-making.

– We would like you to have an adventure that will broaden horizons and will create a deeper engagement with the natural surroundings. This environment focuses on sustainability and social consciousness; the ideal for a green traveller. How can you combine all that and enjoy a carefree holiday at the same time? Tents and stone cabins

Our Odyssey Farm Eco-Glamping currently offers bell tents for 2 people, canvas tents for 4 people, a couple of stone cabins and a beautiful cottage by the sea. It’s not traditional camping; It’s tastefully decorated with respect to nature and Greek traditions (Greek farm house style). As close to nature as one can get in Greece. Sleeping under and in the shadow of olive trees while listening to the waves hitting the shore, and the ever-present crickets, complete the feeling of being in Greece.

Cottage by the sea

Siesta in a hammock

Our gorgeous bell tents are nestled in between citrus trees, and they boast double beds or two single beds appointed with soft bedding and linens. The private bathrooms (a few metres away) have a shower and a toilet. The tents are equipped with electricity, a fridge and a fan for hot days, as well as a clothes-hanger. All bell tents are unique, are baptized with their own name and are of course differently decorated. The decoration changes from year to year. At the front of each tent, there is a private area with a couple of chairs, perfect for a relaxing afternoon or evening while enjoying a chilled beer or two and listening to the sounds of waves hitting the shore. There is also a daybed or a hammock for a lazy afternoon siesta.

Shared outdoor living space

A few metres from the tents, our guests can socialise in the shared outdoor living space, where they’ll find bathroom facilities, fans, and Wi-Fi to stay connected (signal strength may vary from place to place). A pure ‘al fresco’ dinner can be cooked in the common outdoor kitchen and enjoyed in the charming outdoor dining area. Lounging around the swimming pool while sipping an ouzo is another of the treats to be enjoyed at Odyssey Farm Eco-Glamping just as is enjoying an afternoon siesta in the hammock, shaded by olive trees. Perfect ways to spend time unfurling after a day of exploring.

Beach on the farm

But that is not all; just a few metres from pool and kitchen area, our guests will find a secluded stretch of beach, with its own boat dock and deck chairs. Here guests can enjoy amazing views of Poros Island.
