Hello, my dear food lovers!

I'm incredibly happy to share all the details for the LALERI Food Festival! This celebration is inspired by the very heart of authentic Greek flavor and the incredible local treasures of our land.

As you know, katerinaskouzina.com is dedicated to authentic cuisine, pure ingredients, and promoting local identity. This passion is coming to life in a grand, three-day festival focusing on the stunning region of Poros, Troizinia, and Methana.

Our central inspiration? The powerful blend of Ladolemono with Rigani (Oil-Lemon Dressing with Oregano)! This explosive mix is born from the famous lemons of the Lemon Forest, the exceptional Troizinia olive oil, and the unique Methana oregano.

Join us for a journey of tastes, knowledge, and tradition. This festival is designed to showcase local identity, entertain, and raise ecological awareness regarding current environmental challenges.

		A cooking demonstration featuring "invasive fish," which pose a threat to local ecosystems. Followed by a discussion with experts from WWF Greece.
Friday, Nov 21	15:30	The Afternoon of Olive Oil	Tombazis Estate
		Visit and guided tour of the well-preserved traditional olive press. Talks on olive oil and a unique tasting of original treats made with their award-winning oil.
Saturday, Nov 22	12:30	The Morning of Oregano	Palaiokastro, Methana
		Tour of the area, discussion about the unique Methana oregano, and a delicious tasting of homemade treats featuring the herb.
Saturday, Nov 22	19:00	The Grand Gastronomic Festival!	Cultural Center of Methana
		LALERI meets its sister event, the mountain race ‘The GOAT of Methana’ ('To GIDI ton Methanon')! A major celebration with abundant flavors, music, and participation from many local associations and businesses. Don't miss this!
Sunday, Nov 23	10:30	The Morning of the Lemon	Lemon Forest, Poros
		Tour of the famous Lemon Forest. Discussion on the critical issue of water management and the area's history, followed by a tasting of local lemon-based products.

This festival aims to shine a spotlight on local products and businesses, entertain, and inform local communities and visitors. Our goal is for the LALERI Food Festival to become an annual institution for our region!
